Own end-to-end system architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and delivered at pace

NodeJS, We are supporting a client that is transforming the automotive space. The role is for a Senior Engineer (Ruby on Rails) joining a fast-moving, product-centric environment where we focus on high-velocity delivery, modern engineering practices, and meaningful product and commercial impact. The role includes the opportunity to work across Product, Design, Commercial, pricing, quoting, and customer lifecycle domains, while helping evolve high-traffic platforms and introduce AI-driven enhancements.

Requirements

Ruby and Ruby on Rails
Full-stack engineering experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Hotwire, and Stimulus
Node.js and React exposure beneficial
API design experience with REST, GraphQL, and external integrations
Experience with data stores including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
Experience with async processing tools such as Sidekiq and Resque
Cloud and DevOps experience with AWS, Heroku, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
Testing and quality experience with RSpec, Capybara, and TDD methodologies
Experience with security, performance tuning, and system hardening
Experience with AI and LLMs, including API integration, prompt engineering, and AI-enhanced features and developer tooling
Deep expertise in architecting, developing, and scaling full-stack web platforms
Experience guiding cross-disciplinary engineering teams
Ability to embed modern engineering practices for reliable, high-velocity delivery
Decisive, action-oriented approach with strong alignment to business strategy in fast-moving, product-centric environments
