Job description

Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs, covering functional, performance, security, and reliability aspects. Test Execution: Execute manual and automated API tests using various tools and frameworks. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, collaborating with development teams for resolution. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand API specifications and ensure test coverage. Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for APIs to improve efficiency and regression testing capabilities. Reporting: Analyze test results and provide clear, concise reports on API quality and performance. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities to identify and diagnose API issues. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams and documenting findings.

Requirements

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Proficiency in REST API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script development. Kafka knowledge Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Karate) Exposure to Database: Oracle
