Job description

CSL is seeking an IT Infrastructure Director, Global Network & Connectivity Services to lead the design, delivery, and optimization of our worldwide network environment supporting life saving biotherapies. This role oversees global WAN/LAN, cloud and data center connectivity, network security, and collaboration services across research, manufacturing, and corporate sites. The director will define strategy, manage vendors and budgets, ensure high availability and compliance, and drive modernization initiatives. Partnering with cybersecurity, R&D, and operations teams, this leader will enable secure, reliable connectivity that supports CSL’s patient focused, science driven mission., * Develop and execute global network and connectivity strategy aligned to CSL’s business and R&D priorities

  • Lead design, implementation, and operations of WAN/LAN, wireless, SD WAN, VPN, and internet services
  • Oversee cloud and data center connectivity, including hybrid and multi cloud network architectures
  • Partner with cybersecurity to implement and maintain secure, compliant network and access controls
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of network services across global sites
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs for telecom, network hardware, and managed services
  • Direct network capacity planning, lifecycle management, and technology modernization initiatives
  • Establish and enforce network standards, policies, and documentation in regulated environments
  • Lead and develop a global technical team; foster collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Monitor budgets, optimize costs, and report performance and risk to senior leadership

  • Budgeting and cost optimization for infrastructure
  • Leadership of global, cross functional technical teams
