Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to partner with Program, Product, Design, and Engineering teams across the Commerce & Identity Alliance, with primary focus on the Identity - Trust fleet. This role drives delivery of secure, compliant account experiences across Disney Streaming and partner platforms - including privacy, fraud prevention, consent, and regulatory requirements - while coordinating dependencies with Login, Profiles, and Foundations fleets., Lead execution for programs within the Trust fleet, driving roadmap planning, specifications, and delivery across front-end, back-end, and ML workstreams.

Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, Legal, Privacy, and InfoSec to define execution plans, identify investments, and manage dependencies.

Translate product and compliance requirements into clear technical requirements and comprehensive execution plans.

Scope large initiatives into manageable milestones that support efficient, iterative product releases.

Own Scrum and Agile ceremonies for engineering teams, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

Track progress across multiple squads and communicate status in a clear, partner-friendly format.

Manage a program environment involving multiple Trust fleet squads and cross-fleet dependencies across Identity workstreams.

Partner with program and product leads to prepare status reports, schedules, task assignments, risk updates, and delivery plans.

Track and mitigate security, privacy, and compliance risks (e.g., GDPR, COPPA, consent, fraud/abuse prevention, incident response).

Investigate, track, and resolve open issues through clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements that help teams deliver optimally and on time.

Requirements

Preferred locations, in order: New York, NY; Seattle, WA; Los Angeles / Santa Monica, CA. Parking costs, where applicable, are the responsibility of the worker.

5+ years of experience in large-scale software program management.

Experience shipping multiple features or products simultaneously.

Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Solid understanding of systems architecture, testing, design, and implementation.

Proven ability to identify dependencies and risks and partner with engineering counterparts to mitigate them.

Ability to work effectively with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must meet one of the following experience and education requirements: BS in STEM plus 5 years of experience; Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience; BA/BS in a non-technical field plus 11 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting security, privacy, fraud, or compliance software programs.

Experience with identity platforms or account management capabilities.

Experience with Trust fleet workstreams (privacy/compliance platforms, fraud detection, policy enforcement, security modeling).

Gaming and/or streaming experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in large, fast-paced technology environments with complex cross-functional dependencies.
