Job description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Rack & Stack Technician / Data Center Technician for a 6-12 month contract in Maryland Heights, MO (strong potential to convert). The Rack & Stack Technician is responsible for installing, racking, stacking, cabling, and decommissioning servers, network equipment, and related hardware in data center environments. This role supports data center operations by ensuring equipment is properly installed, labeled, powered, and documented according to industry standards and company procedures., * Rack, stack, and cable servers and network equipment

  • Label hardware and cabling per data center standards
  • Connect power and network cabling
  • Assist with hardware installs, moves, and removals

Requirements

  • 1+ year data center or IT hardware experience
  • Familiarity with server and network equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in data center environments

Nice to Have:

  • Datacenter or Networking certifications
  • Fiber cabling experience

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), Hardware Installation, Industry Standards, Lift/Move 50 Pounds, Network Cable, Network Connectivity, Network Operations Center, Network System Hardware, Operational Support, United States Citizen
