Job description
We are seeking a Solution Architect to own end-to-end architecture for programs that turn operational data into explainable, actionable insight - designing how telemetry, logs, and incident data are ingested, normalized, correlated, and surfaced, then leading a multi-disciplinary team through delivery. Enterprise networking experience is a strong plus, as many of these programs draw on network and telecom data., * Own end-to-end solution architecture - reference architectures, integration designs, data flows, and decision records that translate business objectives into buildable design.
- Define non-functional requirements (availability, scalability, latency, retention, cost) and design modular, vendor-agnostic solutions that avoid lock-in.
- Architect the data platform - connector and normalization layers, lakehouse/medallion design, streaming and batch pipelines, data quality, and governance.
- Design the analytics and AI layer - policy engines, anomaly detection, correlation, forecasting, and RAG/LLM patterns - with explainability, auditability, and human-in-the-loop approval built in.
- Embed security and compliance - SSO/federation (SAML, OIDC), RBAC, encryption, data residency, and readiness for enterprise security review.
- Lead delivery technically - discovery workshops, design reviews, technical risk management, and mentoring across data, backend, ML, and frontend teams.
- Support pre-sales and scoping - solution shaping, effort and cost estimation, scope definition, and executive-level presentations.
Requirements
- 8+ years in technology delivery, including 3+ as a solution architect, technical architect, or principal engineer.
- Proven end-to-end solution design integrating multiple source systems, a data platform, analytics logic, and a user-facing application.
- Strong data architecture skills - lakehouse or warehouse design, ETL/ELT, streaming ingestion, data modeling, and governance.
- Practical familiarity with AI/ML in an operational context - anomaly detection, correlation, forecasting, and LLM/RAG patterns.
- Cloud architecture experience (Azure and/or AWS) plus integration expertise - REST APIs, event streaming, connector frameworks.
- Security architecture competence - identity federation, RBAC, encryption, segmentation.
- Strong communication and client-facing presence with both engineers and executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred - Networking Experience a Strong Plus
- Enterprise networking background - routing and switching, data center, WAN/SD-WAN, QoS, or hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Network and telecom telemetry - NetFlow, SNMP, syslog, topology modeling, or UC (SIP, RTP, WebRTC, CDR/QoS).
- Lakehouse and observability platforms - Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Splunk, Elastic, or Grafana; Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code; coding in Python or SQL.
- AIOps or IT operations analytics, and ITSM integration including incident, change, and CMDB data models.
- Consulting background and experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government).
- Certifications: TOGAF, Azure/AWS architect, Databricks, CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent.
