Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Minneapolis, MN., The DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining technical software applications and provides a combination of technical and business leadership while being the primary trusted and capable owner of one or more high priority, high visibility, complex initiatives. The DevOps Engineer will typically lead and coach a small number of team members (e.g., an architect, systems analyst, etc.) and provide guidance to a larger community.

Requirements

4+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer, system administrator, or software engineer
Strong working experience with AWS and Services
Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Shell, Go, or Ruby
Hands-on exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; When a problem occurs, you run towards it not away

Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
