Bi-lingual Staffing Specialist

Abacus Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Staffing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for recruiting, screening, and placing qualified candidates while delivering exceptional service to both clients and employees. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish (or other required language), thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about connecting people with career opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and screen candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire positions
• Conduct bilingual interviews and translate when necessary
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and employee records
• Coordinate onboarding, background checks, drug screenings, and employment documentation
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand staffing needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
• Resolve employee concerns in a professional and timely manner

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-3 years of recruiting, staffing, HR, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus
