Sage 100 ERP Consultant for Manufacturing and Distribution

The Sage 100 ERP Consultant will provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, optimization, and strategic guidance for our Sage 100 ERP system. The consultant will work closely with management and internal users across operations, purchasing, accounting, inventory, production, and customer service.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Sage 100 in a manufacturing and distribution environment and is comfortable balancing day-to-day support with longer-term process improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesSage 100 System Support

• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Sage 100 ERP
• Resolve user issues related to inventory, purchasing, sales orders, manufacturing, accounting, and reporting
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements

Manufacturing & Distribution Process Improvement

• Analyze current workflows and identify operational efficiencies
• Improve inventory accuracy and transaction flow
• Assist with production, BOM, work order, and purchasing processes
• Help optimize distribution and order management procedures

Reporting & Data Management

• Develop and improve reports, dashboards, and data visibility
• Support custom reporting and business analytics needs
• Assist with data integrity and process standardization

User Training & Documentation

• Train employees on Sage 100 best practices
• Create simple process documentation and SOPs
• Support user adoption and system consistency

Integrations & Technical Coordination

• Assist with third-party integrations and software coordination
• Work with internal staff and external vendors as needed
• Recommend scalable solutions to improve operational efficiency

Strategic ERP Guidance

• Advise leadership on ERP best practices and future improvements
• Identify opportunities for automation and workflow enhancements
• Support long-term ERP planning initiatives

Do you have experience in Systems & applications support?, * 5+ years of Sage 100 ERP consulting or administration experience

• Strong experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments
• Knowledge of inventory management, purchasing, sales orders, and accounting workflows
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting ERP users
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Preferred

• Experience with manufacturing modules, BOMs, and work orders
• Experience with custom reporting tools and data analysis
• Familiarity with ERP integrations and third-party applications
• SQL knowledge is a plus
• Experience supporting small-to-mid-sized manufacturing companies
