In this role, you will impact project success by assisting in defining project scope, tracking progress, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives efficiently.

- Apply engineering knowledge, tools, and principals to develop/improve aircraft Fuel Systems
- Works under the direction of Sr/Lead Project Engineer
- Assignments are geared to develop project management and technical skills and to build in-depth product knowledge
- Work closely with peers and team members, customers, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met and completed in a timely manner
- Supports technical projects or phases of projects involving the design and development of new products or improvement of core products and/or processes
- Plans work packages and develops cost, schedule, and milestones for small to medium product development activitiesInterface with technical leadership, program manager, and customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 0-2 years of experience in engineering or related roles, preferably with internship or co-op experience
- Basic understanding of project management principles and engineering processes
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting
- Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and ability to learn technical software relevant to the discipline.

- 1+ years’ experience in applying advanced design, development, evaluation, and quality control techniques to complex engineering projects
- 1+ years’ experience managing engineering projects autonomously and without supervision
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to effectively communicate and present status, actions, recommendations, and technical information clearly
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- Effective project management and organization skills
- Strong troubleshooting and investigative skills
- Ability to support design decisions, deal with ambiguity and drive for results
- Demonstrated leadership attributes, customer, and team interaction in previous or current role
- Demonstrated track record for problem solving, managing requirements, and meeting commitments
- Self-motivated, willing to take ownership
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
- Demonstrated experience with design tools appropriate for the field (Mathcad / Matlab, 3D Solid Modeling CAD Systems etc.)
- Demonstrated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
- Demonstrated extra-curricular/leadership experience, Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
