Finance Transformation Consultant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Finance Transformation Consultant in Milford, MA. Summary: We are seeking a Finance Transformation Consultant to lead Record-to-Report (RTR) initiatives within an SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role combines strong accounting expertise with SAP experience to drive transformation, strengthen internal controls, and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate can operate independently, engage executive stakeholders, and lead accounting-focused change initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead RTR workstream activities within SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Provide expertise in journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Ensure strong internal controls and segregation of duties
• Partner with finance and technical teams to align system design with accounting needs
• Drive project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment
• Facilitate workshops and decisions with executive stakeholders
• Identify risks and process gaps, recommending solutions
• Support testing (UAT/SIT) and change management activities

• SAP S/4HANA and RTR experience
• Large-scale ERP implementation experience
• Project management experience
• Month-end close and journal entry experience
• Knowledge of internal controls and segregation of duties
• Strong stakeholder management and executive presence
• Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification
• Finance transformation consulting background
• Group Reporting or RAAR experience
• SAP Fiori experience
• M&A integration experience
• Power BI experience
• Big 4 or major SI consulting experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
