Job description

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will own the critical intersection of test engineering and hardware repair operations to ensure our returned enterprise storage systems are perfectly requalified. You will safeguard the quality of the Everpure Platform by developing, deploying, and sustaining robust test solutions that eliminate test escapes and maximize asset recovery. Partnering closely with Service Logistics, Quality, and Hardware Engineering, you will turn data-driven failure analysis into systemic operational improvements at our repair centers. This is your opportunity to directly protect customer satisfaction and optimize global supply chain efficiency for a world-class technology infrastructure. Some international travel required., * Own Test Code Infrastructure and Readiness: Develop, port, and maintain automated Python test scripts to ensure all returned enterprise storage controllers are flawlessly diagnosed, while leading the seamless transition of test code and engineering readiness for new product introductions at our global repair sites.

  • Drive Operational Quality and Optimization: Establish standardized procedures and strict test flow sequencing with repair center technicians to isolate hardware failures, eliminate test escapes, and systematically reduce material waste.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Engineering Alignment: Act as the primary technical bridge and voice of test engineering between Service Logistics, Hardware Design, Quality, and third-party vendor operations to resolve complex test discrepancies and realign diagnostic logic.
  • Execute Data-Driven Failure and Performance Analysis: Mine and analyze large operational datasets to generate precise repair disposition metrics, mapping root-cause trends to provide actionable feedback that continuously updates and improves hardware failure categorization.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing test, repair operations, or service logistics, preferably with enterprise storage or server hardware.
  • Hardware Test & Diagnosis Expertise: Advanced capability in system-level hardware debugging and a proven background in manufacturing test environments, server/enterprise storage hardware architecture, or electronics repair operations.
  • Collaborative Automation Programming: Proficiency in writing, debugging, and maintaining test automation code using Python within a collaborative, Git-based version control workflow.
  • Operational Analytical Skills: Mastery in manipulating large operational or hardware datasets to draw clear, root-cause conclusions and present technical findings clearly to cross-functional engineering and supply chain leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Technical Leadership: Strong communication and influence skills necessary to guide external partner technicians, collaborate with design engineers, and align distinct operational teams around quality metrics.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • On-Site Collaboration: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Benefits & conditions

  • Innovation: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers.
  • Growth: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful. We have been named Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Technology , Fortune’s Best Workplaces in the Bay Area , and certified as a Great Place to Work®!
  • Team: We build each other up and set aside ego for the greater good.

And because we understand the value of bringing your full and best self to work, we offer a variety of perks to manage a healthy balance, including flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored team events. Check out purebenefits.com for more information.
