Solution Architect, Cloud, DevSecOps & Platform Engineering

Senior Cloud & Platform Solution Architect Lead the Future of Cloud & Platform Engineering We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to define and evolve enterprise cloud, infrastructure, DevSecOps, and platform engineering architecture across AWS and Azure.

This is a highly visible technical leadership role for an architect who combines deep hands-on cloud expertise with strong people leadership. You’ll establish technical strategy, build scalable platform standards, lead and develop engineers and architects, and influence technology decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Define target-state cloud, infrastructure, and platform architecture across AWS and Azure.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient architectures spanning compute, networking, storage, identity, Kubernetes, and container platforms.
• Establish architecture standards and reusable patterns for cloud landing zones, Infrastructure as Code, and platform services.
• Architect and evolve CI/CD and DevSecOps capabilities using tools such as Azure DevOps, Harness, and GitLab.
• Embed security into delivery pipelines through SAST, DAST, vulnerability management, policy-as-code, and compliance automation.
• Partner with platform engineering teams to build self-service infrastructure, automation, and developer enablement capabilities.
• Define enterprise observability and monitoring standards using platforms such as New Relic, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
• Promote SRE principles, including SLIs/SLOs, capacity planning, performance management, and incident response.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure technology solutions align with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.
• Build, mentor, and manage a team of architects and engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Communicate architecture strategy, technical trade-offs, and risk to engineering teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, vendors, and platforms to support modernization and cloud transformation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Strong cloud architecture expertise across compute, networking, storage, identity, security, and platform services.
• Experience architecting CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, Harness, GitLab, or comparable technologies.
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices, including SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Bicep/ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
• Experience implementing enterprise observability using New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog, or similar platforms.
• Proven experience establishing architecture standards and influencing enterprise technology decisions.
• Demonstrated people leadership, mentoring, and team development experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• CISSP, Security+, or similar security certification.
• Kubernetes certification such as CKA or CKAD.
• Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service cloud capabilities.
• Experience implementing SRE practices, SLIs, and SLOs.
• Knowledge of cloud financial management and cost optimization strategies.
• Experience managing technology vendors and evaluating enterprise platforms.
