IT Asset Management & Logistics Technician

Join a dynamic IT operations team as an IT Asset Management & Logistics Technician, responsible for managing IT hardware logistics and supporting a fast-paced stockroom environment. Be the backbone of technology deployment and asset management, ensuring seamless hardware flow and accurate inventory across company locations. Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized, secure IT stockroom and ensure all equipment is properly stored and accounted for
• Receive, verify, and document incoming hardware shipments, breaking down pallets and larger deliveries
• Prepare and process IT hardware requests, readying equipment for deployment or distribution
• Ship equipment to end-users, vendors, and other sites; prepare, package, and label shipments
• Update and manage asset and inventory records in asset management databases
• Track asset status, location, and assignment throughout the equipment lifecycle
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory replenishment, and organize inventory for optimal access
• Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Support equipment returns, recoveries, redeployments, and repairs
• Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient stockroom workspace

High School Diploma or GED

• 1-2 years experience in IT asset management or logistics
• Proficient in packing, receiving, shipping equipment
• Comfortable in a hands-on logistics environment; capable of lifting and moving IT equipment and shipments
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

• Familiarity with inventory or asset management software Preferred Skills

• Technical certification or associate degree
• Experience with enterprise IT asset management tools
• Previous work in large-scale IT logistics operations, Gain hands-on experience in IT asset management and logistics
• Work in a collaborative, team-focused environment
