Mid-Level Java Software Engineer [$224k/yr+] S

• Develop robust software capabilities utilizing Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful web services in a Linux environment.
• Leverage cutting-edge agentic AI tools to streamline feature implementations, codebase refactoring, and automated test generation.
• Collaborate in an Agile lifecycle leveraging modern cloud, database, and CI/CD tools including AWS, Azure, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Git, and Maven., * Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java-based applications, microservices, and enterprise REST APIs.
• Incorporate next-generation AI coding agents and autonomous workflows into daily software engineering routines.
• Conduct multi-file feature development, complex refactoring, and automated unit/integration testing.
• Work extensively within Linux command-line environments and integrate configuration management workflows using Git, Maven, and Nexus.
• Interface with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and NoSQL/search databases such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and track project delivery using JIRA and Confluence.

Telework: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring on-site presence 3-4 days per week in Fort Meade, MD with partial telework flexibility.

• At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Total Compensation: $224k+ yearly
• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 60 days of start date
