Role summary: As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable software solutions by managing feature implementation, testing, and ongoing support within collaborative teams. • Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code using multiple programming languages and drive full software development lifecycle including CI/CD deployments and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tool to improve development velocity.
• Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable system.
• Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Promote engineering excellence through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous improvement initiative..

• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
• Strong experience delivering scoped features through iterative development and collaborative engineering.
• Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development.
• Skilled in translating complex business requirements into technical solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated technical judgment and adaptability to evolving technologies and system contexts.
