Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role will be responsible for architecting cloud solutions, developing Terraform Enterprise modules, implementing CI/CD automation, and supporting enterprise cloud governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS architecture, Terraform Enterprise, cloud networking, security, and automation within large-scale enterprise environments., * Design and architect end-to-end AWS infrastructure solutions using Terraform Enterprise.

• Build, maintain, and optimize reusable Terraform modules and enterprise IaC frameworks.
• Develop automated deployment pipelines leveraging Terraform Enterprise and Bitbucket.
• Architect secure, scalable, highly available AWS environments across multiple accounts and regions.
• Design and implement AWS database infrastructure solutions utilizing Infrastructure as Code.
• Establish cloud governance, provisioning standards, and deployment controls.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and application teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical planning and design discussions.
• Provide architectural guidance and best practices for cloud transformation initiatives.

AWS Architecture

• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale AWS solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of:
• VPC architecture
• Subnets and route tables
• NAT Gateways and Internet Gateways
• Transit Gateway
• VPC Endpoints and PrivateLink
• Route 53
• VPN and Direct Connect connectivity
• Experience with multi-account and multi-region architectures.

Terraform Enterprise

• 7+ years of hands-on Terraform experience.
• Strong expertise with:
• Terraform Enterprise (TFE)
• Reusable module development
• State management
• Remote backends
• Workspace design and administration
• Variable management
• Environment promotion strategies
• VCS integration and governance workflows
• Experience with Policy as Code solutions such as Sentinel or OPA is highly desirable.

CI/CD and Automation

• Extensive experience building CI/CD pipelines using:
• Bitbucket
• Bitbucket Pipelines
• Terraform Enterprise
• Experience implementing deployment approval processes, quality gates, and automated infrastructure provisioning.

AWS Database Services

Hands-on experience supporting and architecting:

• Amazon RDS
• Amazon Aurora
• DynamoDB
• DocumentDB
• ElastiCache
• OpenSearch

Including:

• High availability and disaster recovery
• Performance optimization
• Scalability planning
• Cost optimization strategies

Security and Identity Management

• Strong AWS IAM expertise including:
• IAM Roles and Policies
• Least-Privilege Access Models
• Permission Boundaries
• Service Control Policies (SCPs)
• Cross-Account Access
• Federation and SSO integrations
• Experience with:
• AWS KMS
• Secrets Manager, * Experience with Ansible Playbooks and infrastructure automation.
• Experience working in highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of cloud governance and compliance frameworks.
• AWS Professional-level certifications are a plus.
• Terraform certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates possessing one or more of the following certifications are strongly preferred:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• AWS Certified Database - Specialty (preferred for candidates with extensive AWS database architecture experience)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (nice to have)
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent Ansible automation certification (nice to have)

Additional Requirements

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Jira and related Agile tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.
