Job description

The Collaboration Implementation Senior Analyst serves as a primary technical resource for collaboration system deployments, working closely with MCIT Collaboration Engineering to ensure collaboration spaces are delivered in alignment with approved technical standards, room archetypes, intended use cases, and operational support requirements.

This role supports consistent execution of collaboration standards across new construction, build-outs, refreshes, and modernization efforts by partnering with design teams, Campus Transformation Project Managers, vendors, and support teams.

The Senior Analyst provides advanced expertise in collaboration technologies and implementation practices, with responsibility for standards validation, deployment quality, user readiness, and operational handoff. The role applies collaboration-focused technical judgment throughout implementation and works in close partnership with Campus Transformation Project Managers while remaining aligned to Collaboration Engineering for technical standards, design direction, and escalation support

The Senior Analyst is also responsible for identifying, documenting, and escalating technical risks, standards deviations, deployment issues, and supportability concerns through appropriate channels. The role requires the ability to work independently with limited direction while applying sound technical and operational judgment across multiple concurrent projects.

Serves as an independent contributor within the Collaboration Deployment team, supporting collaboration deployments across capital, refresh, and modernization projects.

Supports collaboration implementation planning, coordination, and execution in partnership with Collaboration Engineering, Campus Transformation Project Managers, vendors, and support teams.

Validates that planned and deployed collaboration solutions align with approved technical standards, room archetypes, intended use cases, and user experience expectations.

Partners with Collaboration Engineering to operationalize standards, identify deviations or exceptions, and escalate technical or supportability concerns as needed.

Provides collaboration-focused implementation support to Campus Transformation Project Managers, including input on technical readiness, deployment risks, quality checkpoints, and go-live supportability.

Participates in project meetings and stakeholder coordination to support standards alignment, issue resolution, quality review, and operational readiness.

Monitors implementation milestones, deployment issues, action items, and risks, and escalates concerns through appropriate channels.

Participates in planning and design discussions to validate collaboration requirements, confirm room use cases, and identify standards deviations or supportability risks.

Supports scenario-based QA and post-installation validation to confirm collaboration spaces function as intended for users and support teams.

Reviews punch list findings, deployment discrepancies, and recurring field issues to identify trends affecting quality, standards adherence, vendor conformance, and room usability.

Ensures that exceptions, incomplete items, QA outcomes, and support considerations are documented and communicated before operational handoff and go-live.

Assesses user-readiness needs and supports development of room guidance, training coordination, quick-start materials, and post-go-live adoption support as needed.

Provides feedback to Collaboration Engineering on recurring issues, design gaps, and lessons learned to improve standards and future deployments.

Supports multiple concurrent, cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity, applying sound technical and operational judgment to resolve implementation issues and maintain delivery quality.

Performs other duties as needed to support continuous improvement, standards adoption, and operational maturity within the department.

Demonstrated experience validating technical implementations against defined standards and identifying deviations that affect usability, supportability, or operational consistency is required.

Experience supporting collaboration space deployments through planning, implementation, testing, quality assurance, and operational handoff is strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of collaboration room archetypes, conferencing platform standards, AV integration practices, and user-facing support considerations in enterprise environments is preferred.

Experience coordinating with engineering teams, project managers, vendors, and operational support teams in complex cross-functional environments is required.

Experience with scenario-based QA, punch list review, post-installation validation, and operational handoff documentation is strongly preferred.
