Job description

  • Frontend Development: Write, build, and deploy high-quality frontend code, ensuring seamless user experiences and performant interfaces.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze application requirements, identify technical concerns, and develop actionable plans.
  • Agile Collaboration: Work within an Agile team, collaborating with members in Romania and the US.
  • Cloud Integration: Leverage AWS infrastructure to design solutions that optimize product delivery.
  • Legacy Support: Maintain existing legacy applications and resolve bugs across the OPIS code base.
  • Standardization: Adhere to best practices including CI/CD, continuous integration, and clean code standards.

Requirements

  • Frontend & Logic: Advanced Stack: Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, and Next.js.
  • UI/UX Implementation: Expertise in CSS-in-JS (Emotion), component libraries, design systems, Storybook, and Accessibility standards.
  • Testing: Experience writing unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Design Tools: Familiarity with Figma for translating designs into functional code.
  • Systems & Infrastructure: Experience: 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar software development role.
  • Database Management: Good understanding of relational engines (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
  • AWS & DevOps: Knowledge of managing AWS assets, preferably via Terraform or YAML pipelines.
  • Legacy Support: Familiarity with C# and Microsoft .Net framework to support and transition existing systems.
  • Core Principles: Strong knowledge of OOP principles and security best practices., * Backend Development: Experience with Node.js and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis).
  • API Design: Familiarity with GraphQL and complex API integrations.
  • Monitoring & Tools: Experience with database monitoring tools (SolarWinds/RedGate) and diverse source control (Git/TFVC).
  • AI Tooling Proficiency : Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
