Job description

Maintaining the availability, stability and performance of core systems working towards 24/7 reliability
Supporting and administering virtualisation and cloud platforms including Proxmox and AWS
Managing networking fundamentals, firewall management and security
Administering Linux and Windows servers, Nginx, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Active Directory and Microsoft 365
Monitoring system health and responding to incidents
Contributing to backup and resilience planning
Providing occasional support and bug fixes across existing applications as priorities allow

Requirements

Solid hands-on experience administering Linux servers in a production environment
Practical experience with a virtualisation or cloud platform such as Proxmox, AWS or similar
Working knowledge of core networking concepts and firewall management
Comfortable owning problems end-to-end in a small team environment
Exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory or Microsoft 365
Exposure to GCP or Firebase

Benefits & conditions
