Data Analytics Manager

You will take ownership of national performance reporting and analysis, supporting senior leaders and external commissioners with trusted, high quality insight.

• Owning the national reporting cycle and delivery timelines
• Producing monthly and quarterly KPI packs, dashboards, and commissioner reports
• Establishing reporting standards and robust QA processes
• Translating operational and commissioner requirements into analytical workplans
• Managing and developing a team of 3 to 4 analysts
• Partnering with data engineering teams to improve data quality and reuse, * High impact role supporting vital national services
• Supportive, collaborative data team undergoing transformation
• Strong exposure to senior stakeholders
• Clear progression as reporting and BI capabilities modernise
• Opportunity to move toward modern tools such as Power BI and cloud platforms

• Strong numerate and analytical skills
• Experience managing or leading a small analytics or reporting team
• Advanced Excel and experience with Business Objects or Power BI
• Confident communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working with sensitive data and subject matter
• Open to candidates from non-traditional data backgrounds

SQL experience is beneficial but not essential from day one.
