Junior Network Engineer

• Design, build, and configure network infrastructure solutions as part of project deliver
• Support the implementation of routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN technologies across multi-vendor environment
• Assist with remote builds, staging, and deployment of customer solution
• Work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time, ensuring technical requirements are met
• Perform testing, validation, and documentation of deployed solution
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project implementation
• Participate in change activities, including out-of-hours work where required
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project outcome
• Produce and maintain build guides and handover documentation

• A CCNA qualification or equivalent (e.g. Juniper or similar certification) is highly desirabl

• Familiarity with Cisco IOS / IOS-XE and enterprise networking hardwa
• Also a good understanding of Layer 2 technologies (Ethernet, VLANs, Spanning Tre)
• Layer 3 technologies (OSPF, BGP, subnetting, ACLs, VRF)
• Exposure to firewalls and security appliances (configuration, upgrades, policie)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skil
• Ability to interpret technical designs and translate them into build/configuration tas
• Good communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholde
• Experience or exposure to multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Aru)
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies or modern network architectu PN)Understanding of network security princip

Salary: up to 30,000 - £40,000 a year depending on experience + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: 6 months FTC Full time with the option of hybrid working
