Job description
- Design, build, and configure network infrastructure solutions as part of project deliver
- Support the implementation of routers, switches, firewalls, and WAN technologies across multi-vendor environment
- Assist with remote builds, staging, and deployment of customer solution
- Work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time, ensuring technical requirements are met
- Perform testing, validation, and documentation of deployed solution
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project implementation
- Participate in change activities, including out-of-hours work where required
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project outcome
- Produce and maintain build guides and handover documentation
Requirements
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Network Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience in the design, build, and delivery of critical network infrastructure projects, * The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in networking or IT infrastructure, with a keen interest in hands-on engineering and project deliver
- A CCNA qualification or equivalent (e.g. Juniper or similar certification) is highly desirabl
- You will need the following skill: Hands-on or lab-based experience with routing and switching technologi
- Familiarity with Cisco IOS / IOS-XE and enterprise networking hardwa
- Also a good understanding of Layer 2 technologies (Ethernet, VLANs, Spanning Tre)
- Layer 3 technologies (OSPF, BGP, subnetting, ACLs, VRF)
- Exposure to firewalls and security appliances (configuration, upgrades, policie)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skil
- Ability to interpret technical designs and translate them into build/configuration tas
- Good communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholde
- Experience or exposure to multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Aru)
- Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies or modern network architectu PN)Understanding of network security princip

Benefits & conditions
Salary: up to 30,000 - £40,000 a year depending on experience + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 6 months FTC Full time with the option of hybrid working
