Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Consulting Engineer for a top enterprise networking client supporting a major network transformation initiative. This candidate will play a key role in modernizing wireless infrastructure across a large portfolio of locations, beginning with larger enterprise environments and scaling across additional sites throughout the program lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, SD-WAN, SDA, and Fabric Enabled Wireless technologies and be comfortable serving in a customer-facing consulting capacity. Responsibilities include network design, implementation, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment support while working closely with project teams and onsite technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility enterprise transformation program within a complex and large-scale networking environment.

Requirements

3-6 years of networking/consulting engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center
Experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN
Experience with Software Defined Access (SDA) deployments
Experience with Fabric Enabled Wireless
Experience with Fabric-in-a-Box (FIAB) deployments
Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco networking solutions
Experience creating High Level Designs (HLDs), Low Level Designs (LLDs), and implementation plans
Experience working directly with onsite technicians during deployments
Experience utilizing Jira for project tracking and status reporting
Strong customer-facing communication skills
Ability to provide daily project updates * Cisco Professional Services experience
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network transformations
Financial services or banking industry experience
Experience building customer simulation or lab environments
Scripting and network automation skills
Experience developing reusable deployment tools, scripts, or technical assets
Knowledge transfer training experience
