Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Consulting Engineer for a top enterprise networking client supporting a major network transformation initiative. This candidate will play a key role in modernizing wireless infrastructure across a large portfolio of locations, beginning with larger enterprise environments and scaling across additional sites throughout the program lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, SD-WAN, SDA, and Fabric Enabled Wireless technologies and be comfortable serving in a customer-facing consulting capacity. Responsibilities include network design, implementation, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment support while working closely with project teams and onsite technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility enterprise transformation program within a complex and large-scale networking environment.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of networking/consulting engineering experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center

  • Experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN

  • Experience with Software Defined Access (SDA) deployments

  • Experience with Fabric Enabled Wireless

  • Experience with Fabric-in-a-Box (FIAB) deployments

  • Experience designing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco networking solutions

  • Experience creating High Level Designs (HLDs), Low Level Designs (LLDs), and implementation plans

  • Experience working directly with onsite technicians during deployments

  • Experience utilizing Jira for project tracking and status reporting

  • Strong customer-facing communication skills

  • Ability to provide daily project updates * Cisco Professional Services experience

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network transformations

  • Financial services or banking industry experience

  • Experience building customer simulation or lab environments

  • Scripting and network automation skills

  • Experience developing reusable deployment tools, scripts, or technical assets

  • Knowledge transfer training experience
