Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Consulting Engineer for a top enterprise networking client supporting a major Bank network transformation initiative. This engineer will take a leadership role in the execution of large-scale deployment projects focused on modernizing wireless infrastructure across a broad portfolio of enterprise locations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center, SD-WAN, SDA, Fabric Enabled Wireless, and Fabric-in-a-Box technologies while serving as a trusted technical advisor to both customer and internal stakeholders. This position will be responsible for driving project execution, approving technical designs, resolving highly complex network challenges, and supporting critical technology transitions. Candidates should be comfortable leading customer-facing engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting implementation windows that may occur during evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Leadership experience

  • 5-8 years of relevant networking, consulting, or professional services experience

  • Cisco Catalyst Center experience

  • Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN experience

  • Software Defined Access (SDA) deployment experience

  • Fabric Enabled Wireless experience

  • Fabric-in-a-Box (FIAB) deployment experience

  • Advanced experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Cisco networking solutions

  • Experience creating, reviewing, and approving HLDs, LLDs, and implementation/change management plans

  • Strong troubleshooting skills supporting complex enterprise networking environments

  • Experience working directly with customers, partners, and onsite technicians

  • Jira experience and ability to provide project status reporting

  • Strong customer-facing communication and leadership skills

Ability to support implementation activities during nights and weekends when required * Enterprise wireless transformation experience

  • Experience supporting large-scale banking or financial services environments

  • Scripting and network automation experience

  • Experience building test lab environments and customer simulations

  • Experience creating reusable deployment methodologies, technical collateral, and knowledge-sharing assets

Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent)
