  • Define and execute the Workday platform roadmap with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Promote platform reliability, security, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.

  • Lead large-scale implementations, enhancements, releases, and transformation initiatives.

  • Establish engineering standards, integration patterns, governance, and best practices.

  • Oversee team capacity, workforce planning, performance development, and career growth.

  • Partner with senior leaders to translate business priorities into technology solutions and measurable outcomes.

  • Champion automation, innovation, and continuous improvement across the Workday ecosystem.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to use AI to provide a better user experience or efficiencies back to our teams.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on Workday capabilities, architecture, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Workday, HR technology, enterprise applications, or platform engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.

  • Deep expertise in Workday architecture, configuration, integrations, security, reporting, and platform operations.

  • Proven experience leading Workday implementations, transformation programs, or optimization initiatives.

  • Proficient stakeholder management, communication, and strategic planning skills.

  • Experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in Agile environments.

Preferred

  • Workday certifications in HCM, Integrations, Security, Payroll, Prism, Extend, or related modules.

  • Experience integrating Workday with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or Microsoft Azure.

  • Experience leading globally distributed teams.

  • Experience aligning technology investments with enterprise workforce and business strategies.

The ideal candidate is a strategic Workday technology leader who combines deep platform expertise with inclusive people leadership, influences senior stakeholders effectively, and builds strong teams while delivering business-critical HR and Finance technology outcomes.
