IT Support Technician

• Provide first and second level support of end-user ICT assets, including MS365 devices;
• Conducts equipment testing to and from the supply line, documents serviceability status;
• Perform staging of all end user devices using the Microsoft Configuration Manager system (MCM) and relevant toolsets;
• Updating inventory databases;
• Perform the enrolment or handout of all staged devices to the end user;
• Investigates and resolves technical issues in a systematic approach;
• Maintains sound knowledge on implemented technologies;
• Assist his/her superiors and recommend solutions;
• Perform other duties as may be required.

• Have a good knowledge of IT administration tools used in ICT Service Management (e.g. Microsoft Configuration Manager);
• Be knowledgeable in recent and current Windows operating systems and common Windows desktop applications, such as MS 365, MS Office and Adobe;
• Have a good working knowledge of IT hardware and auxiliary computer equipment;
• Have a broad knowledge of computer network technology in a Microsoft Windows environment.

Desirable Skills, Experience and Certifications

• Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) Certification;
• ITIL certified in Service Operations;
• Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements., * Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience, * Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance

The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS)

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.

To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise’s: NATO International Civilians (NIC)’s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)’s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.
