Senior Test Lead Change Management-10886320

The role will work across Agile delivery teams, business stakeholders, technology and DevOps teams, and enterprise governance functions. The primary focus is to drive the adoption of BDD, automation-first testing, continuous testing, and shift-left/shift-right practices, while leading structured change management and cultural transformation. Change Management & Quality Engineering

• Lead the adoption of modern Quality Engineering practices across multiple Agile squads.
• Drive adoption of BDD, automation-first testing, shift-left and shift-right testing.
• Develop and execute change adoption strategies.
• Identify resistance and address barriers to adoption.
• Support the transition from traditional QA to a Quality Engineering mindset.
• Define and track transformation KPIs such as automation coverage, BDD adoption and cycle-time improvements.

BDD & Test Automation

• Design and scale BDD frameworks using tools such as Cucumber and SpecFlow.
• Promote collaboration between business, development and QA teams through shared specifications.
• Facilitate Three Amigos, Example Mapping and collaborative refinement.
• Define and implement enterprise-level test automation strategies.
• Promote API-first testing, test pyramid principles and continuous testing.
• Establish scalable and reusable automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright and REST Assured.

Agile & Multi-Squad Delivery

• Standardise testing approaches and quality gates across multiple Agile teams.
• Ensure consistent delivery quality across squads.
• Act as a bridge between QA, DevOps and Product teams.
• Establish and support Quality Engineering Communities of Practice.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Work closely with senior stakeholders, programme managers, architects and business teams.
• Provide clear reporting on Quality Engineering and transformation progress.
• Establish governance for test strategy, change rollout, regulatory compliance and quality metrics.
• Operate effectively within a regulated financial services environment.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

• Define and monitor metrics including:
• Automation coverage
• BDD coverage
• Defect leakage
• Cycle time
• Deployment frequency
• Build and maintain quality dashboards using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps and Power BI.
• Use data and metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.

DevOps & CI/CD Integration

• Ensure testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Promote test-as-code and continuous testing practices.
• Work with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Align testing strategy with DevOps maturity and delivery practices.

• 810 years of experience in software testing, test management or Quality Engineering.
• Strong experience in Test Management and Microsoft Test Management.
• Proven experience leading Quality Engineering transformation and change initiatives.
• Strong expertise in BDD, test automation and test architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of Cucumber, SpecFlow, Selenium, Playwright and/or REST Assured.
• Strong understanding of API testing, test pyramid, continuous testing and automation-first strategies.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery and experience working across multiple squads.
• Experience working with Jira, Azure DevOps and/or Power BI for quality metrics and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in a regulated financial services or banking environment is highly advantageous.
