Job description
As E-commerce & Digital Experience Specialist , you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the company e-commerce platforms.
Working at the crossroads of e-commerce, digital performance, IT and customer experience, you will monitor platform performance, coordinate incidents, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the implementation of new digital functionalities.
Your excellent command of Dutch will be particularly important in ensuring the quality and consistency of the Belgian Dutch-language webshop, from content and translations to the overall customer journey., * Monitor the daily performance and operational KPIs of the Benelux e-commerce platforms, ensuring a smooth and reliable online customer experience.
- Oversee payment and delivery processes and proactively identify potential issues impacting customer satisfaction or conversion.
- Coordinate incidents with internal stakeholders across E-commerce, IT, Customer Service, Logistics and Project teams, as well as external partners.
- Investigate root causes, recommend corrective actions and drive continuous improvements across processes and tools.
- Take ownership of the quality of the Dutch-language Belgian webshop, reviewing content, translations and the end-to-end customer journey.
- Analyse digital performance, user behaviour and customer data to identify opportunities to improve conversion, usability and overall experience.
- Set up, monitor and analyse A/B tests and translate insights into concrete optimisation initiatives.
- Contribute to the delivery of new digital functionalities, from gathering business requirements and functional analysis through testing and release validation.
- Manage and prioritise the e-commerce backlog in close collaboration with Group Project and IT teams.
- Support the implementation of new marketing, personalisation and digital optimisation tools.
- Collaborate with Benelux and Group teams to share best practices and contribute to the broader international digital roadmap.
Requirements
- Native or near-native Dutch speaker, with an excellent understanding of the Dutch language and strong attention to linguistic and content quality.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in E-Business, Digital Marketing, Business IT or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital operations, web operations or a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, digital performance and customer journey optimisation.
- Experience in an omnichannel, retail or international environment is highly valued.
- Good command of French and professional proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data and insights into actionable improvements.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working across business and technical teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Contentsquare, Heap, Kameleoon, JIRA or similar platforms is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of e-commerce CMS platforms such as Hybris, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Google Tag Manager, is a plus.
- Curious, proactive and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership and a genuine interest in digital innovation.
