About the company

Help shape the digital service experience for thousands of Rabobank colleagues: making IT Service Management simpler, smarter and more valuable every day. Within Consumer Data, part of the Tech4Engineering Tribe, we enable Rabobank teams to find, use and improve IT4IT information in a simple, reliable and compliant way. As Product Owner IT Service Management, you set the product direction for our ITSM platform and turn user needs into solutions that help colleagues work with more clarity, speed and confidence. This is a role for someone who brings product thinking into a complex environment. You do not need to be the deepest technical expert; your strength lies in understanding what users need, connecting people, making clear choices and translating complexity into a roadmap that creates visible impact. You work closely with (Delegated) Process Owners, business stakeholders, IT Risk, Security, Architecture, DevOps squads and our platform vendor Halo. Together, you make ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Request, Change and Configuration Management more intuitive, scalable and compliant - so teams across Rabobank can focus on delivering value for customers. You & your role As Product Owner IT Service Management, you take ownership of the product vision, roadmap and backlog for Rabobank’s managed ITSM platform. You actively engage with users and stakeholders to understand pain points, identify opportunities and set priorities based on customer value, business impact, compliance requirements and delivery capacity. You are the person who brings focus: what problem are we solving, who are we solving it for and how will we know it works? By simplifying user journeys, strengthening governance and improving adoption, you help make the platform easier to use and more effective for colleagues across Rabobank. You form a triangle with the IT Lead and the Solution Architect. Product direction is yours; technology is theirs, and together you set the course for the platform. Because the platform is vendor-managed and cloud-based, your focus is not on infrastructure or system lifecycle management. Instead, you guide product direction, align stakeholders, translate processes into practical solutions and drive continuous improvement. Top 3 responsibilities Shape the product vision, roadmap and backlog Define and maintain a clear product direction for the IT Service Management. Prioritise work based on user needs, business value, compliance expectations and delivery feasibility, and make the roadmap understandable for both business and technology stakeholders. Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making Build strong relationships across business, IT, risk, security, architecture, process ownership and vendor management. Facilitate conversations, create shared understanding and help stakeholders make well-founded decisions that move the product forward. Improve user adoption and product value Continuously improve how colleagues work with the ITSM platform. Identify pain points, simplify processes, improve documentation and ensure that the platform supports teams in working efficiently, consistently and compliantly.
