Superintendent Data Center- Travel

Becker Wright Consultants is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to provide overall site leadership for a large-scale hyperscale data center structured cabling project in Haskell, Texas.

This individual will oversee the field leadership team and coordinate manpower, safety, quality, scheduling and production across multiple work areas. The ideal candidate has previously led large structured cabling or low-voltage teams in an active data center or mission-critical construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall site-level leadership for structured cabling and fiber installation activities
• Lead Superintendents, Project Leads, Crew Leads and field technicians
• Develop manpower plans and coordinate workforce ramp-ups
• Monitor production, quality, safety and schedule performance
• Coordinate multiple crews and active work areas
• Communicate project progress, risks and workforce needs to project management
• Coordinate with the general contractor, customer representatives, vendors and other trades
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules and installation requirements
• Develop recovery plans when production or scheduling challenges arise
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, testing, closeout and customer turnover

• Proven experience as a General Superintendent, Lead Superintendent or senior field leader
• Strong hyperscale data center or mission-critical construction experience
• Extensive structured cabling, copper and fiber infrastructure knowledge
• Experience managing Superintendents and large field workforces
• Strong knowledge of manpower planning, scheduling, productivity and safety
• Experience with project documentation, quality control and customer turnover
• Current OSHA 30 certification
• Ability to work the complete project schedule
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
