Job description
PACCAR Global Engines is the center of excellence for engine and aftertreatment development within PACCAR. In our state-of-the-art development centers, teams work on future engine technologies that meet increasingly demanding emissions and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with technical experts, certification engineers, calibration teams, project managers, and department leads to improve quality, reduce lead times, maintain documentation standards, and increase process maturity across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone with a technical background in engine or aftertreatment development who is ready to take the next step towards engineering process management, continuous improvement, and project coordination., * A unique opportunity to influence the way engineering teams work within a global technology leader.
- A position that combines technical understanding with process optimization and stakeholder management.
- Close collaboration with specialists in certification, engine development, aftertreatment, testing, and project management.
- The freedom to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements that have a direct impact on quality and lead time.
- Exposure to advanced engine development programs and future emissions legislation.
- An international engineering environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent opportunities for personal growth into project management, operational excellence, or engineering leadership roles.
- Competitive employment conditions and long-term career opportunities.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience within engine development, aftertreatment, certification, or a comparable engineering environment.
- An interest in process improvement, standardization, and engineering excellence.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and improving technical procedures and work instructions.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- The ability to connect people, departments, and stakeholders around a common way of working.
- A proactive mindset with a natural drive to improve processes and efficiency.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and a structured way of working.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
