Job description

IDR is seeking a Network Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure within a municipal IT environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced network systems to ensure secure and reliable connectivity across various platforms., * Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a municipal setting

  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routing, switching, and wireless environments
  • Manage security protocols using Palo Alto firewalls and Aruba NAC
  • Support high-availability application delivery with F5 load balancers and VPNs
  • Oversee cellular connectivity and failover solutions, including Cradlepoint systems

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Network Engineering experience with strong hands-on enterprise network design, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, VLANs, routing protocols, and Spanning Tree
  • Hands-on Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS) including security policies/profiles, NAT rules, and SSL decryption
  • Strong F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM/SSL Orchestration) experience plus Aruba Wi-Fi and ClearPass NAC
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki Dashboard and Cradlepoint NetCloud for network management and cellular failover
