Job description

  • Provide 2nd line application support, incident resolution and problem management.
  • Maintain and monitor business applications, ensuring availability, performance and security.
  • Manage application patching, upgrades, releases and lifecycle maintenance.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, taking ownership through to completion.
  • Support system configuration, workflows, fields and service requests.
  • Work with internal IT teams, third-party suppliers and software vendors.
  • Contribute to change, release, incident and problem management processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support users with guidance and training.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with Aareon QL - essential.
  • Strong SQL and relational database experience - essential.
  • Experience supporting complex IT environments and business-critical applications.
  • Knowledge of housing management systems, ideally within social housing.
  • Experience with application monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of ITIL service management principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
