NextJS Developer

We’re looking for a NextJS Developer to join our team on a contract basis, working with modern React technologies to build scalable web applications. This is an opportunity to bring your frontend expertise to a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact our product delivery., This contract role is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and could involve designing and implementing responsive, high-performance web applications using NextJS and React. You would work within an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust frontend solutions. • Building reusable components and optimising frontend performance
• Collaborating with backend teams to integrate APIs and microservices
• Contributing to code reviews and maintaining high code quality standards
• Working within Agile sprint cycles to deliver features on schedule
• Troubleshooting and debugging frontend issues across different environments

• 5-10 years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and React frameworks, particularly NextJS
• Experience working with APIs and microservices architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven ability to work effectively in Agile team environments
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

• Agile certification or demonstrated Agile methodology experience
• Meta Front-End Developer Certificate or JavaScript Certification (JSE/JSA)
• freeCodeCamp Front End Libraries (React) certification
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation tools
