TS Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE)

Insight Global is seeking a TS Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE). This role focuses on tuning and optimizing cybersecurity tools such as ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, and Tanium to improve system performance and threat detection. The engineer will create custom dashboards to visualize security data for faster identification of issues and trends, integrate security products for seamless data flow across the environment, troubleshoot and resolve tool-related issues, and manage upgrades and deployments to keep systems current with the latest features and security patches.

Active Top Secret clearance (required to start)

• IAT Level II / IAM Level I DoD 8570 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
• 3+ years of related experience
• Windows and RHEL system administration experience, including installing, tuning, and troubleshooting cyber tools such as ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, Splunk/Elastic, etc.
• Experience configuring, running, and scripting audit tools
• Knowledge of Software Assurance (SwA) static and dynamic code analysis tools (e.g., Fortify)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Tanium
• Experience building custom security dashboards
• Background integrating multiple security products in a large enterprise or DoD environment
