Senior AEM Developer

AEM Backend Development Design and develop scalable backend components and services within Adobe Experience Manager using Java-based technologies. API Integration Implement secure integrations between AEM, API gateways, and external services using REST APIs and service-to-service communication. Authentication & Security Develop OAuth-based authentication and secure API communication while following enterprise security and engineering standards. Email Validation Workflows Implement email validation workflows, backend orchestration logic, and reliable communication with external validation services. Resiliency & Error Handling Design robust exception handling, timeout management, fallback mechanisms, and resilient backend processing. Observability & Monitoring Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities to support operational teams and effective production troubleshooting. Integration Testing Support end-to-end integration testing across AEM, API gateways, external services, and downstream enterprise platforms. Technical Collaboration Collaborate with architecture, security, platform, and vendor teams while contributing to code reviews, documentation, and operational readiness.

AEM Development Experience 5+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager development experience delivering backend solutions in enterprise environments. Java & AEM Technologies Strong experience with Java, OSGi, Sling, and JCR for developing and maintaining AEM backend components and services. REST API Development Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise applications through API-based architectures. API Gateway Integration Experience integrating AEM with enterprise API gateways such as APIGEE or comparable API management platforms. OAuth & Secure Communication Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 and secure service-to-service communication for enterprise application integrations. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Experience with application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues across distributed backend environments. Resiliency & Operations Understanding of resiliency patterns, exception handling, timeout management, fallback mechanisms, and operational support models. Agile & Collaboration Experience working in Agile delivery teams with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams., Experience with Adobe Forms or complex form submission workflows within enterprise digital experience environments. Cloud & API Platforms Experience with Cloudflare, API management platforms, CDN architectures, or comparable cloud-based integration technologies. Customer Data Validation Experience with customer data validation, email verification, identity solutions, or related data quality services. CI/CD & DevOps Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated deployments, and modern software delivery workflows. Observability Platforms Knowledge of enterprise monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability platforms used for production support.
