IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician provides first and second-line technical support and plays an active role in cybersecurity monitoring. This role ensures that IT issues are resolved efficiently, while contributing to security awareness and risk reduction., * Provide first and second-line IT support, resolving technical and internal systems issues for end users.

• Assist with device configuration, software installations, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate with third party Developers to manage bug fixes and Change requests as required through support ticket.
• Support IT Administrator with asset management and device enrolment. Cover these in IT Admin’s absence.
• Actively monitor EDR software and 365 tools for phishing attempts, malware, and other security threats. Communicate directly with 24/7 SOC Team to respond to and resolve security issues.
• Maintain and update Cyber Security Logs with details of actions taken on High Priority Cases. Report to Head of IT and IT Support Analyst as required.
• Support patch management, security audits, and endpoint security.
• Assist Head of IT with delivery of user training.
• Support and help to administer attack simulation software.
• Work closely with Head of IT and collaborate with IT Projects Coordinator on projects as required in line with business needs and department strategy.
• Carry out projects software testing as required.

We are willing to offer training to support you into a Level 3 or equivalent technical qualification., * 2+ years of experience in IT support or cybersecurity monitoring.

• Knowledge of threat detection, endpoint security, and compliance frameworks.
