Job description

The Role: Electrical Project Engineer

Based in Frankfurt, Germany, you will work alongside the Project Manager, design team and commercial team, supporting the electrical delivery of a large-scale project.

The role covers technical submittals, RFIs, drawings, procurement, subcontractor coordination, commissioning and handover, giving you good exposure across the full electrical project lifecycle., * Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical requirements

  • Prepare and manage technical submittals and RFIs through to close-out
  • Ensure site teams are working from the latest drawing revisions and maintain as-built information
  • Coordinate electrical subcontractors and monitor compliance with project requirements
  • Track long lead electrical plant, equipment and procurement
  • Attend site, technical and coordination meetings
  • Support variations, commissioning, O&M documentation and final handover

Requirements

  • Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or Electrical Engineer on construction projects is required
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings, technical submittals, RFIs and project documentation
  • Working knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience

  • Data centre, mission critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or large-scale commercial experience preferred
  • AutoCAD experience beneficial
  • Previous European project experience beneficial, You are an Electrical Project Engineer with a good technical understanding of electrical construction and experience coordinating information between site, design, commercial and project management teams.

You will be organised, technically capable and comfortable taking ownership of RFIs, submittals, drawings and electrical coordination while keeping works moving in line with programme.
