Saviynt Security Engineer

What You’ll Do Lead and consult on complex, large-scale Information Security Engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact. Analyze and solve multi-faceted security engineering challenges , including scenarios involving intangible or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions requiring deep knowledge of security engineering functions, policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Provide subject-matter expertise and collaborate with internal teams to ensure security requirements are met across projects and environments. Act as a strategic partner to engineering and business stakeholders. Role Focus: Firewall Engineering This position is focused on enterprise firewall engineering , not firewall policy management.

Required Technical Expertise Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls (must have). Solid understanding of network protocols, routing concepts, and security architecture . Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, etc.) is a strong plus. Experience operating in large-scale enterprise environments .

Required Qualifications 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience , or equivalent background demonstrated through a combination of: Prior work or consulting experience Military experience Technical training Education Locations This role is available in the following office locations: Irving, TX Charlotte, NC Chandler, AZ Additional Notes Strong experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet is required.
