Job description

  • Assist the project managers and foreman with material orders
  • Ensure PPE and other safety requirements are maintained on each project
  • Conduct monthly progress meetings with the foremen and project managers
  • Ensure projections for manpower and material are met monthly
  • Daily job site visits and updates with the project managers
  • Training for foreman and tradesmen as needed
  • Work in a collaborative environment to improve process management

Requirements

Regional Contracting Services is looking for a motivated Construction Superintendent to manage manpower on projects, order materials, review drawings and specifications with project managers and foreman, provide training to tradesman in the field, daily visits to job sites in Maryland, DC, and Virginia, and other project related duties.

The ideal candidate should have certifications for OSHA-30, First Aid/CPR, Forklift/Aerial, at a minimum.

Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Experience with estimating software, FieldWire and other project management software is needed. As a commercial interiors specialty contractor, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5-years of experience in interior construction and building finishes. If you have previous experience in interior finishes, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful superintendent will help the company meet schedules, budgets and help grow the bottom line., * Pre-employment and random drug screening required

  • Must complete and pass a background check to obtain security badges for federal projects
  • OSHA-30, First/Aid, CPR, Forklift
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with ease
