Information Support Officer

Support: Act as the first point of contact for staff IT issues, resolving technical problems and escalating complex matters. * Outsourced IT Support Contract Management: Manage our outsourced IT support contract and software suppliers, including our care management system provider. * Asset Register: Maintain an accurate asset register of laptops, mobiles, and other equipment. * Data Processing Agreements: Ensure compliance with data processing agreements with our working partners. * Subject Access Requests: Handle subject access requests and investigate any data breaches or near misses. * Cyber Essentials Certification: Achieve and maintain our Cyber Essentials certification. * Multi-Factor Authentication: Implement multi-factor authentication everywhere, ensure backups are running, and test restores. Essential Qualifications * Experience administering Microsoft 365 in a workplace setting. * Solid working knowledge of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. * Experience managing a supplier, contract, or external provider. * Ability to explain technical and compliance issues clearly to non-technical individuals. * Genuine organisation and discipline to maintain records, logs, and evidence in order. Desirable Qualifications * Experience in health, social care, or another regulated sector. * Familiarity with Cyber Essentials. * Data protection qualification.
