Job description
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Ecommerce Product Administrator to help manage our growing product catalogue across our websites, online marketplaces and internal systems.
You’ll add new products, keep existing product information accurate and up to date, write SEO-friendly content, complete website product attributes and gather information from suppliers to support new product launches.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines product administration, ecommerce and content creation. We’re also keen to embrace new technology, including AI, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys finding smarter and more efficient ways to work.
This is a full-time, permanent role based at our office in Canterbury, Kent.
What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain product listings across our websites, online marketplaces and internal systems.
- Add new products, including specifications, images, attributes and supporting documents.
- Review and update existing product information to keep it accurate, complete and consistent.
- Write clear, informative and SEO-friendly product descriptions and website content.
- Gather product information, images and technical documentation from suppliers.
- Prepare product and packaging information for new product launches.
- Maintain product categories, filters and website attributes.
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency and content quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve how we manage product information.
Requirements
- Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
- Well organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with colleagues and suppliers.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn, solve problems and improve processes.
Experience in ecommerce, product administration or catalogue management would be an advantage, as would an understanding of SEO, experience writing content for the web or using ecommerce and other business systems.
Experience using AI tools for productivity or content creation would also be beneficial.
