MS Dynamics Architect

MS Dynamics Architect required for a three-month planning assignment with a client preparing to move off multiple Salesforce instances onto Microsoft Dynamics. Outside IR35, \u00a3700 per day. Mainly remote with some UK travel. Start ASAP., * Advisory support to the BA team. Working alongside the analysts as they map, bringing the Dynamics view into their sessions: what is standard, what is configuration, what is customisation and what simply is not worth doing.

• Target process direction. A steer on what moves across as-is, what gets reshaped to suit Dynamics, and what should be retired rather than carried forward.
• Alignment of ways of working. A single agreed way of working across the business units, rather than three or four versions of the same process wearing different hats.
• Technology differences. A plain English view of where Dynamics genuinely works differently to Salesforce, and what that means for users, data and the target design.
• Migration strategy and plan. The sequencing, the approach, the risks and the decisions that need making, in a form the client can execute against once the delivery phase starts.

• An architect with real MS Dynamics depth. You need to be able to say with authority what the platform will and will not support, and be right.
• Ideally you have taken a migration onto Dynamics all the way through, not just planned one. We want the scar tissue: someone who knows which decisions taken at this stage cause pain later.
• Enough Salesforce knowledge to know what you are looking at, and to be knowledgeable about where the two platforms diverge.
• The confidence to tell the business that lifting and shifting a bad process into Dynamics simply gives them a bad process in Dynamics.
• Pragmatic and quick. Three months, focused on a plan that stands up, not on perfect documentation.
