Senior Backend Engineer

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to enable seamless integration across platforms.
• Develop and optimize database schemas using MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and other database systems to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end teams working with Angular, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Implement microservices architecture leveraging cloud platforms like AWS and Azure for flexible deployment and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), UML (Unified Modeling Language), and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Participate actively in Agile methodologies such as Scrum to promote continuous improvement and team collaboration.
• Maintain version control using Git or SVN; utilize tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, or TFS for development workflows.
• Contribute to database design efforts including T-SQL, PL/SQL scripting, SSRS/SSIS reporting tools, and application development best practices.

• Proven experience in software development with a strong background in backend technologies including ASP.NET Core (.NET), Node.js, Java, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful API design, SOAP web services, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and XML/JSON data formats.
• Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
• Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like Angular or React is a plus for cross-team collaboration.
• Strong understanding of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; experience with database design is essential.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns along with experience in debugging complex systems efficiently.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams using tools like GitHub or TFS for version control; familiarity with SDLC processes.
• Ability to write comprehensive UML diagrams for system modeling; experience with application security best practices is desirable.
