Job description
We are seeking a part time (35 hours per week) proactive and customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our growing IT team. You will be the first point of contact for internal users requiring technical assistance, helping to resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and other IT systems.
What You Will Do
- Act as the first point of contact for all IT support queries via phone, email, and helpdesk ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Escalate more complex issues to 2nd/3rd line support as needed.
- Log all incidents and service requests accurately, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
- Set up and configure new user accounts, hardware, and software.
- Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and resolutions.
- Assist with IT onboarding for new starters and provide basic user training when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain IT assets and inventory.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in IT support role or technology field
- Knowledge of Computer Systems and the internet
- Knowledge of IT Software and Hardware (Microsoft Windows/Dell/HP)
- Methodical Thinking and Decision Making
- Recognised industry Certification(s)
- Trained and or experienced O365.
- Trained and or experienced with Windows 11
- Trained and or experienced with Dell / HP & Canon hardware.
Desirable
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar certifications.
- Experience in a similar 1st line support environment.
- Understanding of ITIL practices.
This is a part time role, based onsite in Harley St, 35 hours per week. Travel to other clinics may also be required from time to time.
