The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile Scrum practices for a cross-functional software development team, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality products. This role serves as a servant-leader, removing impediments, coaching team members in Agile principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement., * Facilitate Scrum Events: Plan and run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Remove Impediments: Identify, track, and resolve blockers that hinder team progress, coordinating with stakeholders and other teams as needed.
- Coach & Mentor: Educate the development team, Product Owner, and organization on Agile best practices, fostering self-organization and accountability.
- Maintain Scrum Artifacts: Ensure the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Increment are transparent, visible, and up-to-date.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track velocity, burn-down/burn-up charts, and other performance indicators; present insights to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives to capture lessons learned and drive process enhancements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize backlog items and clarify acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the development team and external stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and progress updates.
- Agile Governance: Ensure compliance with organizational Agile policies and standards.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
- Certification: SAFe Scrum Master Certified, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks
- Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project-management tools
Desired Skills
- Soft Skills: Excellent facilitation, communication, conflict-resolution, and coaching abilities
- Problem-Solving: Proven track record of identifying and removing impediments to maintain flow
- Leadership: Experiance leading a team, forming, storming and norming around a product line to deliver value

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
