Job description

  • Provide prompt and professional product support to customers via phone, email, ticketing system, and video conferencing (Teams/Zoom).
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BTECH’s hardware and software offerings.
  • Deliver remote and occasional on-site product training and field service support.
  • Remotely install and configure BTECH software in customer environments.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams such as Service, Monitoring, and Engineering.
  • Maintain expertise in BTECH’s full product line and contribute to ongoing support documentation (manuals, bulletins, work instructions).
  • Assist the Engineering team in testing and evaluating prototype hardware and software.

Requirements

BTECH is seeking a Technical Product Support Specialist to join our growing team. This customer-facing role is responsible for providing technical support and training for BTECH’s hardware and software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electronics, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and excellent communication skills. This is NOT an internal IT support role-it focuses on helping external customers effectively use and troubleshoot BTECH products., Electronics Technology Degree (Associates) or equivalent experience., * Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices.

  • Hands on experience using basic electronic test equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good interpersonal skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a working knowledge of databases and computer networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
