Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Industrial / Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Logistics or comparable, + Strong expertise in AI, machine learning, and mathematical optimization, with the ability to select and apply optimization, heuristic, and data-driven approaches based on business requirements.
  • Experience in developing decision intelligence solutions, ranging from recommendation systems to automated and autonomous closed-loop decision processes.
  • Proven track record in solving production and logistics optimization challenges, such as scheduling, resource allocation, material flow optimization, capacity planning, and disruption management.
  • Experience with modern AI frameworks, as well as a solid understanding of large language models (LLMs) and agent-based architectures.
  • Ability to translate requirements from production, logistics, planning, and business stakeholders into scalable algorithms, decision models, and operational solutions.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience validating models, measuring business impact, and continuously improving solution performance.
  • Ideally, knowledge of simulation, digital twins, and factory data integration, including the interaction between shopfloor systems and enterprise applications.
