Test Engineering Lead

Experteer Overview As Test Engineering Lead, you drive the development and deployment of RF and DC test solutions for high-volume semiconductor products up to 100 GHz, leading a small team of engineers. You translate concept test architectures into production-ready solutions, solving complex issues to improve yield, quality, and cost. You collaborate across engineering, operations, and external partners to push test capabilities and reliability. This role offers impact by shaping test methods for cutting-edge devices in data centers, communications, and microwave applications. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, owning technical execution, quality, and schedules * Develop and deploy RF and DC test solutions including hardware, instrumentation, software, characterization, debugging, and release * Design and optimize RF test strategies for devices from discrete components to MMICs up to 100 GHz * Support manufacturing by resolving issues, improving measurement integrity, and expanding high-volume test capability * Analyze data, troubleshoot hardware/software, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to boost yield and productivity * Develop and improve test procedures, calibration methods, workflows, and product interfaces for high-volume manufacturing * Collaborate with Product/Design Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and external test partners to address challenges and drive continuous improvement Tasks * 8+ years in semiconductor test engineering * Experience with RF/DC test development, automated test systems, production support, and NPI * Proven ability to develop, debug, and deploy hardware, software, instrumentation, and manufacturing support * Strong understanding of RF measurement techniques, automated test platforms, test automation software, and package interface technologies * Demonstrated data analysis, issue-tracking, root-cause identification, and corrective actions * Proven technical leadership, mentoring, project leadership, and driving yield/quality/cost improvements * Strong written and verbal communication across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and external partners; travel willingness Key requirements * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Employer-sponsored 401(k) plan * Paid time off * Professional development opportunities
