Job description
This is an opportunity to register your interest in SITS Developer roles, where you could contribute to the delivery and maintenance of student information systems for higher education institutions. Roles of this type typically sit within technical teams supporting education sector clients who rely on robust, well-maintained SITS implementations to manage student lifecycle data, reporting and compliance., * Delivering SITS system development, configuration and customisation to meet institutional requirements
- Supporting the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of SITS environments
- Collaborating with education clients to understand functional and technical needs
- Writing and maintaining SITS code, scripts and system configurations
- Contributing to system testing, documentation and knowledge transfer
- Liaising with stakeholders to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Supporting the maintenance of existing SITS implementations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience working with Student Information Systems (SITS)
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and SITS development tools
- Strong understanding of higher education systems, processes and data management
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have experience could include:
- HESA reporting knowledge
- Experience with education sector systems beyond SITS
- Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies
